Welcome
I’m Miri and am based in New Zealand. I understand how life-changing the decision to prioritise your health can be. I had put on so much weight and have been on every diet but it just piled back on. It effected my life dramatically both physically and mentally. After researching my options in New Zealand I decided on having the procedure done in Turkey. It was the best decision for me and financially it made sense.
In 2025 I chose to undergo weight-loss surgery, and it truly has transformed my life. I have so far got rid of 32 kilos and still losing. I now enjoy improved health, increased confidence and enjoy a more active lifestyle which is something I am incredibly grateful for.

Available Tours and Prices
For those travelling from New Zealand or Australia It is recommended staying three nights in a hotel and three nights in hospital. This allows time to rest before and after surgery and ensures you are recovering well before your return flight home.

Biruni University Hospital is in Istanbul, it has an International Accreditation for International patients and is a reputable, where they have the highest standard of care, providing an ethical practice with a wonderful team who will be caring for you during your stay.
It is close to Istanbuls Historic Hub and near a modern Shopping Mall.

When travelling overseas I recommended you take out travel insurance to cover yourself for Medical Tourism procedures.
Contact your Insurance Company to discuss cover.

Yes, you may bring a Companion with you and they can stay in your hospital room at no extra cost. They only have to pay for their airline ticket and have some spending money. All meals are provided for them while you are in Hospital.
